Coalition partners from Combined Joint Task Force Spartan participating in Exercise Eager Lion brief colleagues at the King Hussein Medical Center in Amman, Jordan, May 10. Lectures were spread out over a two-day period and covered topics from air medical evacuations to tactical combat casualty care. Eager Lion 12 is an irregular warfare themed exercise including 19 countries and more than 12,000 participants, focused on missions coalition partners might perform in support of contingency operations. The intent is to strengthen military-to-military relationships and interoperability through a joint, whole-of-government, multinational approach to meet current and future complex national security challenges.
