    Michigan Gov. Rick Snyder reads the oath of enlistment to a group of soldiers from the 1st Battalion, 125th Infantry Regiment, 37th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, April 19, 2012 during a visit to Forward Operating Base Kunduz, Afghanistan. The governor was visiting Michiganders as part of a Department of Defense funded program. The 1-125th is a Michigan Army National Guard unit deployed to northern Afghanistan in support of the International Security Assistance Force. ISAF RC-North supports Afghan National Security Forces in close coordination and collaboration in providing security and disrupting insurgent activities in order to protect the Afghan population.
