A rock-filled culvert combats water erosion after the implementation of a 12-kilovolt line that runs from the Miramar Landfill to Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, Calif. The creation of this line will transfer three megawatt-hours of energy to the base from two 1900-kilowatt methane-powered generators at the landfill.
