The Illinois National Guard has had a strategically important State Partnership Program with the Polish military for more than 25 years. As part of the program The Adjutant General and other senior leaders visit Poland at least once a year. In 2019 that official senior leader visit took place in May. On the Illinois National Guard Senior Leader visit to the Polish Armed Forces Operational Command, The Adjutant General of the Illinois National Guard Brig. Gen. Richard Neely (right) met with Maj.
