Navy chaplain, Lt. Commander Dennis M. Wheeler, draws names for a raffle at the Marine Air Group 39 family marriage expo at Camp Pendleton, Calif., Feb. 9. The event was designed to help Marines strengthen their relationships with their family and friends and encourage healthy marriages. “We’re trying to cut down on the divorce rate in the Marine Corps and we can’t do it alone,” Wheeler said, who spent much of his time greeting people as they came in. “We would like to see other units replicate this event and stress the importance of relationships across the Marine Corps.”
