Carol Saggese, a volunteer, takes pictures for Marines and their families who attended the Marine Air Group 39 family marriage expo at Camp Pendleton, Calif., Feb. 9. MAG-39 family readiness officers and chaplains plan on hosting the event twice a year. The Marines who attended left with pamphlets on family relationships and contact numbers for help and advice from chaplains, family readiness officers and community members. “The expo is here to help put that information out there,” said Lance Cpl. Shayne M. Ortega, 21, a power plant mechanic with Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron 39, from Anaheim, Calif. “There’s a lot of info here, they are passing it to us to help us get through rough times in our relationships.”
