Marines from 2nd Platoon, Alpha Company, 1st Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment leave their camouflage utilities hang on concertina wire to dry out at Forward Operating Base Bank after a security patrol. Out of FOB Bank the Marines conduct security operations to disrupt insurgents' capabilities to communicate. These Marines are deployed with Multi National Forces-West in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom in the Al Anbar province of Iraq to develop Iraqi Security Forces, facilitate the development of official rule of law through democratic reforms, and continue the development of a market based economy centered on Iraqi reconstruction.
