The command Sgt. Major’s of 2nd Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division, Lancers, stationed out of Joint Base Lewis-McChord stand in front of the rock dedicated to the soldiers and families who make up the Lancer brigade Nov. 22. Every unit that comes through the National Training Center located at Fort Irwin is given the option to showcase their unit insignia to the world by decorating a rock from what is known as the “rock pile” with their organization’s crest.
