JBLM service members honor veterans

Sgt. 1st Class Walter Twitty, an information systems operator from Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 702nd Brigade Support Battalion, 4th Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division, enjoys the company of retired Sgt. 1st Class Sidney Mayers during a Veteran's Day ceremony at the American Lake Veteran Affairs Medical Center in Tacoma, Wash. Nov. 11. Twitty, a Brooklyn, N.Y., native, and service members from the Joint Base Lewis-McChord community volunteered their time to get to know our nation's veterans and make them feel appreciated.
