JBLM service members honor veterans

Staff Sgt. Casey Sedivy, an information systems operator from Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 702nd Brigade Support Battalion, 4th Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division, gets to know retired Sgt. 1st Class Sidney Mayers during a Veteran's Day ceremony at the American Lake Veteran Affairs Medical Center in Tacoma, Wash. Nov. 11. Mayers, a Buffalo soldier who fought in Italy during World War II and served in Vietnam, shared some moments from his military career and shook the hands of today's service members. Service members from the Joint Base Lewis-McChord community volunteered their time to get to know our nation's veterans and make them feel appreciated.
