Sgt. Daniel Hanshew (right) and Pfc. O’Brian Palmer hustle to prepare the poached pear, blue cheese, and candied walnut salads for the guests of the Soldier Luncheon held Oct. 14 at the Highland Country Club. Hanshew and Palmer, both food service specialists with 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division are the reigning “Top Chefs” for XVIII Airborne Corps and Fort Bragg, winning 2010 and 2011 best chef competitions respectively.
