The last of three waves of amphibious assault vehicles from 3rd Assault Amphibian Battalion get in position to conduct an amphibious landing on Camp Pendleton during Exercise Dawn Blitz, Sept. 30. Dawn Blitz is a Marine expeditionary brigade level exercise focusing on rapid deployment of forces on short notice for a wide range of contingencies, from humanitarian aid and disaster relief to combat.
