The causeway connecting Pierre and Laframboise Island was partially submerged after the increased level release from the Oahe Dam June 4 2011 at 17:08. The National Guard remains vigilant working around the clock in this historic flooding event and will continue to work side by side with local, state and federal agencies to help South Dakotans in their time of need.
