Local children hold the American flag prior to it being hoisted over Utah Beach June 6. The children are participating with Paratroopers from the U.S. Army Civil Affairs & Psychological Operations Command (Airborne), U.K, Germany, and France in ceremonies honoring those who fought and died during Operation Overlord, the D-day landings 67 years ago.These Paratroopers are members of Task Force Normandy, which is a multinational force of U.S., U.K., French, and German soldiers, sailors, and airmen in a combined effort to remember and celebrate the 67th Anniversary of the D-Day operations.
