Navy seabees look on at a local schoolhouse here as Keith Lofton tears down a tree to make room for another schoolhouse for children nearby. The seabees, along with Army Guard units from around the country and Air Force units, are participating in Beyond the Horizon 2011. The 4-month-long civic assistance and training exercise will help build Salvadoran infrastructure, give U.S. soldiers valuable training and strengthen U.S.-Salvadoran relations.
