Spc. Kayce Booker, of the 1223rd Engineering Company, South Carolina Army Guard, power washes a local school here. Soldiers of the 1223rd are supporting Guard units from around the country, including Air Force and Navy seabee units, in Beyond the Horizon 2011. The 4-month-long civic assistance and training exercise will help build local Salvadoran infrastructure, give U.S. soldiers valuable training and strengthen U.S.-Salvadoran relations.
