Boston, Mass. native, Sgt. Adam DeLorey, an engineer with the 92nd Engineer Battalion, 3rd Infantry Division prepares to bulldoze some abandoned buildings in the city of Husayniyah, Iraq Jan. 30 during a joint operation with Iraqi troops from the 5th Special Troops Company, 2nd Brigade, 9th Iraqi Army Division (Mechanized) and Soldiers from the 1st Battalion, 37th Field Artillery Regiment. Terrorists had operated from the buildings, using them to store weapons caches and as a base of operations. The buildings were torn down to prevent their further use by insurgents.
