A CH-53D Sea Stallion with Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 363, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing (Forward), drops a bundle of water cases June 29 as Marines test a new way of getting emergency supplies to the battlefield using a Single Cross Parachute which is part of a low-cost, low-altitude delivery system. HMH-363 completed more than 4,000 sorties and logged more than 3,000 flight hours during their seven month deployment. Now the Marines are preparing to redeploy to their families at Marine Corps Base Hawaii Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii.
