A CH-53D Sea Stallion with Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 363, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing (Forward), takes off for a training mission June 29. The Marines were testing a new way of getting emergency supplies to the battlefield using a Single Cross Parachute which is part of a low-cost, low-altitude delivery system. Now the Marines are preparing to redeploy to their families at Marine Corps Base Hawaii Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii.
