Col. Robey Brantley, 194th Engineer Brigade Forward Commander, Duration, Resolute Castle 16 officer-in-charge of the Tennessee National Guard commends Sgt. Robert Kiekel, engineer, 186th Engineer Company, Alabama National Guard, by presenting him with a Commander’s coin. Sgt. Kiekel was recognized for his positive leadership qualities, eagerness to learn and ability to manage tasks at higher levels of responsibility during Col. Brantley’s visit to Cincu Training Range on July 10, 2016. The 186th Eng. Co. soldiers are working alongside members of the Romanian Land Forces on various horizontal engineering projects to help meet the Romanian's training and infrastructure needs.
