Master Chief Petty Officer of the Navy Rick West participates in physical training with chief petty officers and chief petty officer selects in the hangar bay of the aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan. The MCPON was aboard Ronald Reagan to thank Sailors for their service while the ship has been deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility. Operations in the U.S. 5th Fleet are focused on reassuring regional partners of the United States' commitment to security, which promotes stability and global prosperity.
