Ronald Reagan's chief's mess was joined by Master Chief Petty Officer of the Navy Rick West during the PT session in which its future members train for the stressful and demanding job of being a U.S. Navy chief petty officer. Ronald Reagan is currently deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility. Operations in the U.S. 5th Fleet are focused on reassuring regional partners of the United States' commitment to security, which promotes stability and global prosperity.
