Cmdr. Brenda Bradleydavilla, USS Bataan's command chaplain, leads a group of Bataan Sailors and embarked Marines from the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit as part of their Independence Day celebration. Bataan is serving as the flagship for the Bataan Amphibious Ready Group, performing Maritime Security Operations in the U.S. Fifth Fleet area of operations. The 22nd MEU, embarked aboard the ships of the Bataan Amphibious Ready Group, is currently serving as the theater reserve force for U.S. Central Command.
