A local Filipino attends a medical subject matter expert exchange event at the Langogan National High School in Palawan, Philippines, one of many events leading up to the Amphibious Landing Exercise (PHIBLEX) 15 Sept. 22, 2014. The subject matter expert exchange allows U.S. Navy medical and dental personnel teach CPR and proper dental care to teachers, students, and local residents. PHIBLEX is an annual, bilateral training exercise conducted by the Armed Forces of the Philippines, U.S. Marines and Navy to strengthen interoperability across a range of capabilities to include disaster relief and contingency operations.
