A UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter from 3rd Battalion, 158th Aviation Regiment, 12th Combat Aviation Brigade descends to a landing zone during an air assault Aug. 22 at Paldiski, Estonia. Several Black Hawks inserted American paratroopers from the 173rd Airborne Brigade and Estonian soldiers from the Estonian Defense Forces’ Single Scouts Infantry Battalion during this three-day training mission that featured day and night assaults. The training is part of Operation Atlantic Resolve, an exercise dedicated to demonstrating commitment to NATO obligations and maintaining interoperability with allied forces.
