Ensign Taavet Raasik, an Armored Personnel Carrier commander assigned to the Estonian Defense Forces’ Single Scouts Infantry Battalion receives instructions from an American officer during an air assault training mission held Aug. 22-24 in Paldiski, Estonia. The Estonian Single Scouts Infantry Battalion and the U.S. Army’s 173rd Airborne Brigade coordinated this three-day exercise that featured UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters from the 12th Combat Aviation Brigade. The training is part of Operation Atlantic Resolve, an exercise dedicated to demonstrating commitment to NATO obligations and maintaining interoperability with allied forces.
