Lt. Col. Larry Croucher, commander of the 3rd Cavalry Regiment ready rear detachment, takes off at the start of the Fourth Annual Salado Midnight Madness 5k held Aug. 1 in Salado, Texas. The event was hosted by the Salado Chamber of Commerce and featured a nighttime race with runners wearing glow-in-the-dark bracelets and necklaces while running a designated route on Thomas Arnold Road.
