A member of the Qadasiyah Emergency Response Unit hands a toy to a child in the Qadasiyah neighborhood of northwest Baghdad on Jan. 20. Soldiers from the 4th Battalion, 42nd Field Artillery Regiment, attached to the 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division, Multi-National Division - Baghdad, were in the area to check on numerous voting sites and checkpoints and to provide guidance and mentorship to their Iraqi security force partners as they increase security to prepare for elections scheduled Jan. 31.
