Two international judges observe and evaluation a U.S. sniper team as they compete in an unknown distance event over the rugged terrain of Colombia during the Fuerzas Comando competition July 26. The U.S. is one of 17 nations in this year’s special operations competition being held in Fort Tolemaida, Colombia. The competition, established in 2004, is aimed at enhancing training skills, mutual trust, readiness and interoperability of special operations forces across the Western Hemisphere. Members of the U.S. team are assigned to the 7th Special Forces Group based at Eglin Air Force Base, Fla.
