A sniper from the U.S. team makes adjustments to his rifle during the unknown distance event during the Fuerzas Comando competition July 26. The U.S. Southern Command-sponsored competition was established in 2004 to enhancing training skills, mutual trust, readiness and interoperability of special operations forces across the Western Hemisphere all in the spirit of friendly competition. Members of the U.S. team are assigned to the 7th Special Forces Group based at Eglin Air Force Base, Fla.
