Pfc. Andrei Escobar, the honor graduate for platoon 2053, embraces loved ones after graduation July 3, 2014. Recruit training signifies the transformation of a civilian to a United States Marine. Upon graduation, the newly-minted Marines will receive 10 days of leave before attending the School of Infantry East, Camp Geiger, N.C.
