Washington service members, mostly consisting of Soldiers from Headquarters Company, 81st Brigade Combat Team, Washington Army National Guard, pose with Washington Gov. Christine Gregoire, Jan. 7, at Camp Ramadi, Iraq. Gregoire traveled to Baghdad, Ramadi and Balad during her two-day trip to Iraq to see Washington Soldiers. Approximately 2,400 members of the Washington Army National Guard are deployed to various bases across Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
