Christine Gregoire the inside of an Armored Security Vehicle, Jan. 7, at Joint Base Balad, Iraq. Gregoire traveled to Baghdad, Ramadi and Balad during her two-day trip to Iraq to see Washington Soldiers. Approximately 2,400 members of the Washington Army National Guard are deployed to various bases across Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
