Marines with the Force Reconnaissance Detachment, 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit, fire their M4 carbines at silhouette targets on the flight deck of the USS San Diego as part of close quarters tactics qualification training conducted during Certification Exercise (CERTEX) off the coast of Southern California, June 19, 2014. CERTEX serves as the final at-sea period for the 11th MEU and Amphibious Squadron 5.
