Bill Gerety, commander 80th Training Command (TASS), awards the Army Commendation medal to Chief Warrant Officer Kenneth Shinholster, logistics officer Security Forces Advisory Assistance Team Detachment 82, during an award ceremony, Fort Bliss Texas, April 24, 2014. Shinholster received the award for his logistical planning and execution during the SFAAT DET 82 pre-mobilization proccess. Shinholster is part of a 16-person team, 15 of whom are from various units across the 80th TC scheduled for deployment to Afghanistan in May 2014 to advise and assist the Afghan Border Police at Regional Command West near the Iranian border.
