Mary Avriette, veterinary officer for the 82nd Civil Affairs Battalion, conducts a rectal palpation on a cow to check to see if the cow is pregnant as part of a three-day Veterinary Civic Action Program, or VETCAP across the farming communities of Metapán, El Salvador, April 9.
