Cadets from Beaufort County area high schools compete in the fireman's carry event on April 11, 2014, in Bluffton S.C. This event was part of the Superintendent's Cup, a competition that tests Junior Reserves Officer Training Course cadets on their mental and physical abilities in both individual and team-based events. Bluffton High School's Army JROTC won the Superintendent's Cup for a second consecutive year, edging out Beaufort High School's Air Force JROTC, Marine JROTC units from Battery Creek High School and Whale Branch High School, as well as Hilton Head Island's Navy JROTC program. 4th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division Soldiers, as well as members of the Audie Murphy Club, were on hand to grade all events.
