Matt Cyr, an armor officer platoon leader, assigned to Company C, 1st Battalion, 22nd Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, Multi-National Division - Baghdad, introduces himself to a resident of Hayy Jihad in West Rashid, Oct. 4, 2008, asking questions pertaining to current security in the area, and assessing the local Iraqi's observances of Iraqi security forces operating in the area. The Soldiers are checking on the progress of the ISF operating in the area to sustain the current security levels, said Cyr, a native of Dover, N.H.
