Airmen deployed to the 379th Air Expeditionary Wing volunteer to re-certify Individual First Aid Kits at Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar, March 14, 2014. Service members who deploy are issued IFAKs for temporary medical assistance, until they can reach further medical care. All items inside the IFAK that expire within a year must be replaced before they can be re-certified. Once items inside the IFAK have been verified, they are sealed with a tag and service receipt to guarantee the IFAK has not been tampered with. (U.S. Air Force photo/Senior Airman Hannah Landeros)
