U.S. Army, Kenya Defence Forces, and local veterinarians administer medication to local livestock during a two-day Justified Accord 2026 Veterinary Civic Action Program (VETCAP) at Archers Post, Kenya March 10-11, 2026. U.S. and KDF veterinary teams worked together to provide essential care to a local livestock market. The week prior the veterinarians conducted a three-day K9 Tactical Combat Casualty Care course at the Humanitarian Peace Support School in Nairobi, Kenya, strengthening skills across all aspects of military and civilian animal health.
JA26 increases multinational interoperability in support of humanitarian assistance and crisis response, prepares regional partners for United Nations and African Union missions, and builds readiness for the U.S. joint force. Led by U.S. Army Southern European Task Force, Africa (SETAF-AF), and hosted in Djibouti, Kenya, and Tanzania, JA26 is U.S. Africa Command’s largest exercise in East Africa. (U.S. Army video by Spc.
