U.S. Air Force Airmen assigned to the 56th and 57th Rescue Squadron based out of Aviano Air Base, Italy, and Swedish air force rangers assigned to the 17th Wing based out of Ronneby, Sweden, train in a personnel recovery exercise in the High North during Exercise Cold Response 26 at Bardufoss Air Station, Norway, March. 13, 2026. The High North provided an opportunity for Allies and partners to demonstrate combat-ready personnel recovery capabilities in austere arctic conditions.
