U.S. Army explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) technicians assigned to the 720th Ordnance Company, 18th Military Police Brigade, Kenya Defence Forces engineers assigned to 10th engineer battalion conduct a controlled demolition demonstration during Justified Accord 2026 in Laresoro, Kenya, March 11, 2026. The demonstration highlighted explosive hazard identification, safe disposal procedures, and coordinated response capabilities while strengthening interoperability between U.S. and Kenya forces participating in the multinational training exercise.
JA26 increases multinational interoperability in support of humanitarian assistance and crisis response, prepares regional partners for United Nations and African Union missions, and builds readiness for the U.S. joint force.
