Artillerymen with the 1st Battalion, 101st Field Artillery Regiment, Massachusetts Army National Guard, and Kenya Defence Forces, rehearse M119A2 howitzer Table V training during Justified Accord 2026 at Bearing Point Five, Laresoro, Kenya, March 4, 2026. Table V training evaluated artillery crews on individual and collective gunnery tasks using notional fire missions to ensure safe, accurate, and standardized procedures before advancing to live-fire Table VI certification.
JA26 increases multinational interoperability in support of humanitarian assistance and crisis response, prepares regional partners for missions with the United Nations and African Union, and builds readiness for the U.S. joint force. Led by SETAF-AF and hosted in Djibouti, Kenya, and Tanzania, the exercise brings together personnel from approximately 10 nations and is U.S. Africa Command’s largest exercise in East Africa.
