U.S. Marines with the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit set up an evacuation control center in preparation for a non-combatant evacuation operation scenario as part of the MEU’s certification exercise at Marine Corps Outlying Landig Field Atlantic, North Carolina, Feb. 23, 2026. CERTEX is a land-based pre-deployment exercise that enhances the integration and collective capability of the Marine Air-Ground Task Force while providing the 24th MEU with an opportunity to train and execute operations in austere and urban environments.
