Royal Canadian Air Force CF-18 Hornets assigned to the 425th Tactical Fighter Squadron generate and taxi with U.S. Air Force F-16 Fighting Falcons assigned to the 18th Fighter Interceptor Squadron, and U.S. Air Force F-35 Lightning IIs assigned to the 355th Fighter Squadron during ARCTIC EDGE 2026 (AE26) at Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska, March 3, 2026. Regular exercises remain critically important by allowing the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) to complete Joint Force experimentation with cruise missile defense technologies in the Arctic.
