Green Berets and enablers assigned to 10th Special Forces Group (Airborne) immerse themselves in some of the most physically and mentally taxing cold weather training for the Joint Pacific Multinational Training Center (JPMRC) 26-02 rotation across multiple training areas in central and southern Alaska. Before entering the training area, they participated in two weeks of cold weather training, focusing on fundamental survival skills necessary for Arctic environments. This included cross-country ski maneuvering, patrol base operations, and tactical snowmobile movement. The training ensured soldiers could operate effectively in extreme cold while maintaining mobility, lethality, and sustainment in austere Arctic conditions. JPMRC rotations provide realistic, large-scale training that prepares units to fight and win in complex, multi-domain environments. (U.S. Army video by Staff Sgt. David Cordova)
