U.S. Marines with Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron 369, Marine Aircraft Group 36, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing provide close air support during a troops in contact drill as part of Nansei Sword 26 off the coast of Ie Shima, Okinawa, Japan, Jan. 28, 2026. Nansei Sword 26 is designed to provide realistic training that increases the combat readiness of MAG-36 through exercising communication setup and utilization and providing logistical support throughout dispersed locations.
