U.S. Air Force Airmen assigned to the 317th Airlift Wing projected tactical airlift power during exercise Palmetto Reach in Saipan, Northern Mariana Islands, Jan. 12-21, 2026. The 317th AW was invited by the 437th Airlift Wing from Joint Base Charleston, South Carolina, to participate as a guest unit in exercise Palmetto Reach to showcase long-range C-130J Super Hercules operations and reinforce the Air Force’s global power projection and readiness posture.
