U.S. Air Force Airmen assigned to the 40th Airlift Squadron participate in an interfly during exercise Palmetto Reach in Saipan, Northern Mariana Islands, Jan. 19, 2026. The 317th Airlift Wing was invited by the 437th Airlift Wing from Joint Base Charleston, South Carolina, to participate as a guest unit in exercise Palmetto Reach to showcase long-range C-130J Super Hercules operations and reinforce the Air Force’s global power projection and readiness posture.
