Coast Guard Cutter Neah Bay (WTGB 105) assists the Algoma Niagra, a 740-foot commercial vessel, while transiting the St. Clair River on Jan. 27, 2026. The Neah Bay made passes around the freighter to free in from the ice in support of Operation Coal Shovel, which keeps commerce flowing throughout the Lower Great Lakes.
